You have arrived

It all began on September 2nd when your daddy and I went to grandma Heidi's house. I was so uncomfortable the night before that we ended up going to the hospital, and the only thing they saw was that I was not contracting, so of course they sent me home, and told me to call the doctors office. The next morning I called the nurse and she told me to just take it easy, but I was so uncomfortable that when we went to grandma Heidi's house I sat in the Jetted tub to help me relax, and it helped a little bit, and after she saw that I was still uncomfortable so she told your daddy and I to go for a walk. We walked to Arby's which is about 1 mile from the house. I was able to walk there, but could barely walk back, so uncle Nathan had to pick us up and take us back to the house. Your daddy and I had an idea of just going to hospital and walking the hallways to see if we can get things moving faster. Hey we figured everything was there. Good food, Labor and Delivery, and couches to sit on. We were walking the hallways, and I could barely walk one hallway before sitting down. Your daddy asked me if I wanted to go to Labor and Delivery to see if anything was happening, and so I said yes. It was Labor Day weekend so they were really busy, but they put in an actual room. The nurse came in and put me on monitors, and while she was there she could only see that maybe my uterus was irritated, but then I told her that I was having high blood pressure, so she put me on the cuff that went off every 10-15 minutes, and as she was looking  it was really high, so before she left she filled out the board as if we were staying. Well the next nurse that came in put on my wrist band, and had my blood drawn, so I knew something was going on. She then came in with daddy's wrist band, so I knew it was happening. She brought in 2 bags. 1. was potocin, and the other just fluid for dehydration. She pumped the potocin like 2 times, and by the 3rd time I need the epideral. Once I got the epideral it felt better, and that was about 10pm or 11. I was hoping to sleep but could not, so I just watched the monitor. Your daddy was sleeping on the couch.At one point the nurse came in and had me put on oxygen, because your heart rate was going down, and during that time I was a little concerned, so I started singing hymns to you, and once I stared I relaxed, and fell asleep for awhile, and before I knew the nurse came in and asked if I was ready to push, so I started to push at 4:30am on the 3rd, and by 5:32am you were in my arms, and how wonderful it was to finally hold you in my arms. Your grandma Heidi was there as support, and it was good to have her.

What has been going on!!!

To my son who will be here soon,

It has been such along time since my last post to you. I am know about 37 weeks, and I am in the clear to have you. It is hard being a first time mommy, because I am learning what to expect. I am not sure when you will arrive, but I sure can't wait. I am so uncomfortable that I take a bath every night just to relax. Your daddy has new hours at work. He gets up early, and gets home at 2pm, so that is nice. He gets to have Sunday off, so we have that time together. I am seeing the doctor every week, and he says you are growing just fine. I have had 2 baby showers, and so far have everything that I need, but the only thing is a stroller, but we have money to use to get one, so we will get one. You like to poke me during church. It is funny because I can see a big bump on my tummy, and it is either your foot, knee ,and butt. When I push on it it moves like you don't like me touching you. It is fun though. I am grateful that we get to meet you soon. I already love you, and so can't wait to hold you in my arms.

Our little boy

So today I saw the doctor, and they checked my cervix, and everything was fine, so she said that I can do normal things again. Of course being on bed rest for 2 months makes it hard for me to want to do things. Yesterday there was a lot of pressure in my cervix, and I kept feeling a bump there, so I figured you were head down, and today confirmed it. There was a reason why I was going to the bathroom every hour last night, and can not get comfortable. I guess you are preparing for your arrival. I am thinking of stopping taking the pills to calm my uterus, because I feel that it is time that nature takes it course, and the doctor feels fine, so why not. I guess the count down begins my little one. We can't wait to see you.

So you did it to me again. I was back in triage again. I had really bad cramps that would not go away. They were coming every 2-3 minutes for about 1 1/2 hours, so me and your daddy went to the hospital. We got there around 8am, and left around 10:30. Your dad is so funny, because he says at least it is on his day off, but he asks me if I could do a little later in the day, because he want to sleep in on his day off. Oh my little man I wonder when you will come. I get worried, because I am home alone I don't want any surprises when your daddy is off work. I am not going to the Larsen reunion, because of all the cramping and backache that I have been having, and that is okay, because in the end I think I need to be close to home in case something does happen. I read face book, and everyone is having a good time so far. The family stopped in St. George for the night, and left this morning to head to Preston. Your grandpa Campbell called, and said they plan on seeing me on Sunday afternoonish, so that will be fun. Your grandma Campbell saw your great-grandma Z and said she was very out of it. She was sleeping, and woke up to say hi, but she is under a lot of medication, and so she is very dazed and confused. Traveling in the RV is Grandpa Campbell, Cathy & Mark, Great-Grandpa, and Grandpa Z, Jodi, and Jenna, Max, and Codi, so it is a smaller group this year, but I am sure they are having fun with everything

To my son

Today I have been exhausted. I feel you on my diaphram, because I can hardly breathe know. I have felt lower back ache, and feel that you are lower down. I am so grateful that you are still in, and everyday is a good day that you are in me. We can't wait to meet you little one. I look on face book and see all these moms having babies, and I can't wait to hold you, and smile, and say you are here after all the trouble you have giving me, but it will all be good at the end. I am know going on 32 weeks, and i am hoping to make it another 4-6, but it is all up to you, and when you want to come. I of course feel you moving like crazy, and today you had the hiccups. It was fun to see my belly go up and down.

Busy day my boy

So today was a very busy day today. I am feeling better. We went to a family reunion out in Spanish Fork Utah. Let me tell you little one you sure do move a lot. I love to feel you roll around, and you usually start the action when I eat, or of course when I get ready to go to sleep. Your dad loves it too, because he will put his hand on my belly, and smile, when ever you roll around. There is another reunion that I want to go to, and I am going to ask the doctor if I can. It is your grandpa Campbell's reunion, and the fun part is traveling in an RV together, and talking about what has been going in our lives. There is one special person that I want to see, and that is your great grandma Z. I have not seen her in a long time, and she is getting older in her years. She is getting forgetful.

Past Week

Well my baby boy you have done it again. Last week I was in the hospital for cramping and they found that I was having contractions. They were not constant, but they ended up sending me on a medication to calm my uterus. I have never taken the medication. It caused me to have constipation, and that was the pits, so I ended up getting some stuff to help with the constipation. Well I worked, and I ended up having really runny poop. The constipation was so bad that it gave me hemorriods, and they are not fun. They were so painful that they were bleeding. Well a week later(July 18th) I though I was bleeding from my vagina, because when I peed there was blood. Of course I was scared, so I shook your daddy like crazy, and we went to the hospital. They put me back on the monitor, and checked out my uterus. My cervix was fine, and she found no bleeding in the vagina, so they sent me home. I am hoping that is my only scare, but I have a feeling you are testing me and your daddy, but we love you still.

To my baby boy,

This your mother who loves you very much. You are the most important thing in our lives. You have gave us a scare on the 25th of June, but I guess that heavenly father has a different plan for you. I was in the hospital with you for 5 days, and let me tell you little man that it was tough, but I did all for you. I am on bed rest, trying to do whatever it takes to keep you in. it is rough, but I love you so much, and so does your daddy. We are so happy to bring you in our lives, and I can't wait to hold you in my arms, but only when the time is right.

Adam's first visit to see me

Dec 1st 2009

It was a Tuesday night, and the whole day I knew something was up, because Adam was not online all day. I knew he was coming to visit, but I did not know exactly when, but for some reason I had a feeling he was coming that day. My work let me off early, so the whole day I was getting things ready(just in case he came). I would call him, and I could hear things in the background, and he would tell me he was just driving, and it was the radio, or things like that. That night I was watching a show, and I called him right before it, and he said he was doing something, and he would call me after the show was over( which was 2 hours). Well right after my show he called, and I don't remember what he said to me exactly, but it was something to the fact of how the moon and stars looked outside, and I should come out and see, and that point my heart was pounding like crazy, because I knew he was outside my house. I immediately got my shoes on, and opened the door, and I could not see, so I looked around the corner, and there is was. I was so happy to see him I ran, and I literately fell into his arms( I tripped on a rock), and he caught me. He took me to his car, and brought out a box from his mission, and I opened up, and inside was my real engagement ring. He took it out, and It was beautiful. That night we just snuggled together and enjoyed being together. The 3 days that Adam was with me went to fast. He got to meet my mom and dad, and my sister. The hardest part was saying goodbye to him when he left. I think I cried the whole night, but it felt good to talk to him, and hear his voice. 

The engagement

November 18th-19th

It was a Tuesday I believe, and Adam and I were chatting. We were talking about picking out an engagement ring. I knew he was going to purpose, and I did not know how he was going to do it. We were talking about places to get married, and when to tell my parents so they could get ready to go through the temple. That night Adam wanted to show me something, I was not sure what it was, but he came back to the webcam, and showed me a pioneer ring, and before I knew it he was telling me how much he loved me, and got down on one knee, and purposed to me. He says my reaction is one he would never forget. I was surprised, but I knew I wanted to marry him. I know it was only one month since we met, but I knew it was the right decision for both of us.
